Well it’s a camp.  For grown up musicians.

It was a rather early morning (for grown up musicians), but we got to stop and have coffee here and there on the way out through the Fraser Valley.  It was a leisurely drive for Jonas and I.  By the time we hit Princeton we were very ready to have lunch.  We did.  I rapidly got in the water afterwards.  I’m still the only one here who’s had a swim!

To clarify, Headwater is (very proudly) involved in the Peak Performance Project.

We get to have a brains crammed full of juicy music biz info by talented professionals all week this week, and to hang out with 19 other incredibly talented bands.  We’ve been co-writing with an amazing cat called Dominique Fricot and have nailed a really killer tune so far.  His string section is RAD!

Following this intense, amazing experience, we have our official showcase on the 20th of September at the Red Room!!!  Tickets available HERE.

In short, the ball hockey game between the faculty and the artists this year was a wash.  We pounded them.  Ali Milner had two beauty assists.  Love it.
