Jonas and I are super excited to be hitting the VYR airport tomorrow morning – flying into YYC.  Oh yeah.  Cowtown.

It’s been quite some time since we’ve touched down in Calgary, and we’re very happy to be gracing the stage at the Calgary Folk Club alongside some serious Canadian roots heavyweights – Shari Ulrich, Barney Bentall, and Tom Taylor.  My dad played on a couple of Shari’s albums, and she’s been a real supporter for us for years.  We love her. 

Can’t wait to hang with these awesome people and hear their amazing tunes.

We’ll be doing our powerhouse duo set.  Love it. 

Today, we’re playing at the Shangri La hotel in Vancouver for a bunch of gold miners at a private bourbon-themed event – very cool.  Pat Steward and Brad Ferguson comprise our badass rhythm section. Following that, it’s off to the first of the Peak Performance Project showcases tonight at the Red Room – and then onto 560 Seymour to see our good buddies The Boom Booms kick off their North American tour with a huge show.  What a busy weekend!
